We were given a file of .txt format. When I opened it, it is nothing but a normal file with a poem written inside it. But when I selected the whole text some empty spaces are also selected along with it . From this, it is clear that something is hidden among the text content. Next, my aim was to find appropriate tool to extract hidden content. It was not much a deal since I recalled the challenge title once again .The word “snow” stroke me. Yah it was a hint for tool named “stegsnow”.
Stegsnow is a tool for concealing messages in text files by appending tabs and whitespaces at the end of lines. The encoding used by snow relies on the fact that whitespaces and new lines won’t be displayed in text editors.
